About WanderPULS
Plan your route. Uncover new places. Live the journey. Share the story.
WanderPULS was created for travelers who dream of seeing the world but do not always have the easiest passport, the biggest budget, or the confidence to start.
I know that feeling personally.
As a Filipino traveler based in the Caribbean, I understand how complicated international travel can feel when you come from a country where visas, entry requirements, expensive flights, long routes, and uncertainty can make the world seem far away. For many travelers like me, planning a trip is not just about choosing beautiful places. It means checking visa rules, preparing documents, comparing routes, saving money, and making sure every step is worth it.
WanderPULS exists to make that journey easier, clearer, and more possible.
This site is a mix of personal travel stories, first-time travel guides, visa tips, itinerary ideas, border crossing experiences, and practical tools designed to help ordinary travelers explore more of the world with confidence.
Why WanderPULS Exists
Travel can look effortless online, but for many of us, it is not always simple.
Some travelers can book a flight today and enter dozens of countries tomorrow. Others need to research visa requirements, prepare bank statements, plan around limited vacation days, and make every trip count.
WanderPULS was built for the second kind of traveler.
The traveler who wants to see the world but has to plan carefully.
The traveler who dreams of visiting faraway countries but feels overwhelmed by the process.
The traveler who has limited time, limited money, or a weak passport but still refuses to stop dreaming.
My goal is to turn my personal travel experiences into useful guides that help other travelers understand what to expect before they go.
Not perfect travel.
Not luxury travel.
Real travel.
The kind where you figure things out along the way, make mistakes, learn from them, and come home with stories that stay with you.
What You’ll Find on WanderPULS
WanderPULS is designed to help first-time visitors, country counters, backpackers, and everyday travelers plan smarter and travel with more confidence.
Here, you will find:
First-Hand Travel Guides
These are based on real trips, real routes, real challenges, and real lessons. I share what I did, what worked, what I would change, and what first-time visitors should know before going.
Visa and Entry Requirement Guides
As a Filipino passport holder, I know how important visa research is before booking anything. WanderPULS includes visa-focused content to help travelers understand where they may need a visa, eVisa, visa on arrival, or supporting documents.
Practical Itineraries
Many of my guides are built around actual routes I took, especially for travelers with limited vacation days. I focus on realistic itineraries, transportation flow, timing, costs, and mistakes to avoid.
Border Crossing and Backpacking Tips
For travelers moving between countries, especially in regions like Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and beyond, I share practical notes on transportation, safety, immigration, and route planning.
Travel Tools and Resources
WanderPULS is also growing into a travel tool platform. The goal is to create helpful tools for visa checking, itinerary planning, country comparisons, travel budgeting, packing, and trip preparation.

My Travel Philosophy
I believe travel should feel inspiring, but also practical.
A beautiful photo might make you dream, but a good guide helps you actually go.
That is why WanderPULS focuses on both emotion and information. I want each guide to capture the feeling of arriving somewhere new, but also answer the questions travelers actually search for:
-
How do I get there?
-
Do I need a visa?
-
How many days should I stay?
-
Is it safe?
-
What should I avoid?
-
Where should I base myself?
-
What is worth doing if I only have a few days?
-
What would I do differently next time?
Travel is not only about crossing places off a map. It is about becoming braver, more aware, and more connected to the world.
About the Name WanderPULS
WanderPULS is built around four ideas:
Plan your route.
Good travel starts with preparation, especially when visas, time, and budget matter.
Uncover new places.
The world is bigger than the usual tourist lists. Sometimes the most memorable places are the ones you almost skipped.
Live the journey.
Travel is not only about the destination. It is about the bus rides, the wrong turns, the strangers who help you, and the small
moments that become unforgettable.
Share the story.
Every trip teaches something. WanderPULS exists so those lessons can help the next traveler.
A Personal Note
I did not start traveling because everything was easy.
I started because I wanted to prove to myself that the world was not as unreachable as it looked.
Coming from the Philippines and now living in the Caribbean, I have learned that travel often requires extra planning, extra patience, and sometimes extra courage. There are visas to apply for, routes to calculate, immigration questions to prepare for, and budgets to stretch.
But every country I visit reminds me that the effort is worth it.
WanderPULS is my way of documenting that journey and helping others begin their own.
If you have ever looked at a map and thought, “I wish I could go there, but I don’t know where to start,” this site is for you.
Start with one country.
Plan carefully.
Learn as you go.
The world becomes less impossible one trip at a time.
