Step 2: Complete the DS-160 Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application

The DS-160 form is the official application form required for all nonimmigrant U.S. visas.

2. Select “Philippines, Manila” as your application location.

3. Fill Out the Form Completely: Provide personal details, travel plans, and background information.

4. Upload a Passport Photo: A 2x2-inch photo with a white background is required.

The non-refundable visa application fee is $185 (subject to change). You can pay via:

• Bank Over-the-Counter Payment: Visit a Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch.

Step 4: Schedule Your Visa Interview Appointment

After payment, schedule your visa interview through the official appointment portal:

Prepare the following documents for your visa interview:

• Valid Passport (must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in the U.S.)

• DS-160 Confirmation Page (with barcode)

• Visa Application Fee Receipt

• Appointment Confirmation Page

• Recent 2x2-Inch Passport Photo (if needed)

• Supporting Documents, including:

  • Proof of strong ties to the Philippines (employment certificate, business permits, property documents)
